The only real problem, as I mentioned before, is Nintendo's lackluster voice chat for its online service, something that could really limit an online-forward game but not cripple it by any means. Diablo 3 is an older game that likely wouldn't prove too taxing on Nintendo's hardware, with a local multiplayer proposition that fits the Switch quite well to boot. Publishers and developers across the industry are rushing to port their games to Nintendo's smash hit console, and Blizzard's only real candidates are Hearthstone and Diablo 3, the former of which isn't happening right away but could still sometime in the future. I'm going to call this one eminently believable, both because of Eurogamer's track record and because a Switch port for Diablo 3 would just make a lot of sense. We've contacted Blizzard for comment and will update if we hear anything back, but don't expect anything: Blizzard seems to be playing this one close to the chest, either at Nintendo's behest or of its own volition. Go to the setting and turn on elective mode and then you can use whatever skills you want in on each button you dont have to use one from each category (Im using the helltooth gargantuan build too) Ohhhh daaamn. Now, a report from Eurogamer cites anonymous sources saying that yes, Diablo 3 is, in fact, coming to the Nintendo Switch.
